'Hidescapes', a project by Payam Askari, developed by SK!N  investigates new uses for leather and leather‑waste by transforming scraps into a unified, expressive material language. Rooted in ideas of “new skin” and “skin landscapes,” the project treats dead stock, offcuts, defects and varied textures as compositional elements—blending patchwork and continuous surface techniques to evoke abstracted natural topographies.
